Additional auditing will be performed randomly by the Supervisor or Quality Assurance and acknowledged on the Traveler. All projects are subject to final inspection to ensure product conforms to customer requirements. This will be identified by the Q A' sign off and/or packager on the traveler. Unless identified with a hold tag or is in the nonconformance area the inspection status of material and product is deemed to be conforming to requirements.
First Off Inspection
Prior to the commencement of Production, a person will undertake a First Off inspection. Evidence of this shall be through sign off of the traveler.
Materials shall be identified as follows:
Raw materials by part number, grade or other suitable means to prevent unintended use.
In Process will be identified with a job number relating to the Job Traveler as identified by a marker or identification Tag.
Finished product will be identified with customer name, job number, purchase order number, product description, quantity ordered, quantity shipped and shipping date.
Where traceability is required all required information will be retained in the job file or forwarded to the client where required by contract.
Customer Supplied Product

All calibration will be traceable to a national standard and records of calibration are maintained through the Calibration Program. A label attached to the equipment showing calibration date and due date identifies calibration status. In cases where it is not feasible to attach a label on the equipment, the label will be attached to the equipment's case, (container). A Calibration Record Card is maintained for individual Inspection equipment. Jigs, Fixtures and Templates are used for reference only and are not calibrated. Actual parts are verified with calibrated equipment. GD 261, GD 262
